What You’ll Do
As a CMM Programmer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet strict customer and industry standards. Depending on your experience level, responsibilities may include:
- Develop, generate, validate, and maintain CMM programs for dimensional inspection of precision machined parts
- Program and support metrology systems including CMM, 3D scanning, and vision inspection equipment
- Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Perform first article inspections (AS9102), in-process inspections, and final inspections
- Customize inspection reports and outputs to meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards
- Identify dimensional discrepancies, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to improve inspection strategies and part conformity
- Create work instructions, procedures, and documentation for inspection processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection efficiency, automation, and quality systems
- Maintain compliance with AS9100/ISO standards and customer-specific requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re hiring at multiple levels (I, II, III), and the right candidate will bring:
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably CNC machining, aerospace, defense, or precision environments
- Strong understanding of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation
- Experience with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar preferred)
- Familiarity with metrology tools, inspection systems, and quality documentation
- AS9100/ISO and AS9102 experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration
